Angel brought me this poem home from work for Mother's Day. I really like this:

The Silent Ranks

I wear no uniforms, no blues or Army greens.
But I am in the military in the ranks rarely seen.
I have no rank upon my shoulders. Salutes I do not give.
But the military world is the place where I live
I'm not in the chain of command, orders I do not get.
But my husband is the one who does, this I cannot forget.
I'm not the one who fires the weapon, who puts my life on the line.
But my job is just as tough, I'm the one left behind.
My husband is a patriot, a brave and prideful man and
the call to serve his country, not all can understand.
Behind the lines I see the things needed to keep this country free,
My husband makes the sacrifice, but so do our kids and me.
I love the man I married. Soldering is his life.
But I stand among the silent ranks known as the Military Wife.

Happy Mother's Day "Grammie"...

This is a picture of my mom when she was here to visit. As most of you know, she helped me get to Germany with my 2 little bambinos. (We also got to take advantage of bringing more luggage.) I could not have done it without her! Thank you Mom!

We will miss Daddy when he leaves for a 2nd time...

We just found out recently that Angel will be going away again but this time for longer. We are a little more prepared for things this time , I think-emotionally. (But we'll see as things get closer.) It was such a battle of emotions when he deployed the 1st time. I was pregnant with 1st baby & the series of emotions are like a roller coaster. I know this time it will be hard, but at least we know a little of what to expect.

This picture was taken right before Angel was promoted to Sergeant. (GO DADDY GO!) Alex is wearing a beautiful hat & matching sweater (underneath coat) that our cousin made for him. It is GORGEOUS, crocheted out of colors that match Daddy's uniform.

Mom says I've got little pokey horns that she hides underneath all my hair...hmmm...
"Krazie" is our kitty that made it all the way to Germany with us...so happy she is here. All the neighbor kids LOVE her, she roams freely & the tics have been loving her also lately-YUCK!
Mommy was just posting this adorable picture about 10 minutes ago but then when she went to "PUBLISH" it did not work. This is me & my 1st baby doll. Isn't she cute!? She looks like a lil' Asian Baby like me! Anyway, I JUST started to crawl while Mommy was posting this picture. I crawled about 7 feet!!! BUT, Mommy just used up the last of the DVD for the camcorder. Can I get a witness!!!??? HURRAY!!!

Being a big brother...

is wonderful! I love my baby sister & when mommy wants me to check on her I give her hugs & kisses to reassure that life is ALL GOOD! Soon I will have to chase after my baby sister like my mommy & daddy have to chase after me. (I give them a run for me when EVER I have the opportunity to do so...which is OFTEN-tee hee!)

Wassssssssssup! I just cut my 1st tooth about a week ago. The 2nd tooth just pierced through the skin a few days ago and they are SHARP!

I am also maneuvering around all over the place. I sit up like a little "Princess" and get into crawling position like it's going outta style! I scoot, roll over, rock, & turn to get places. I love to bounce on my own and in the jumparoo! Soon I will be mastering crawling & Mommy, Daddy & my big bro' will be in BIG TROUBLE!!!

Haven't we all done that when we were a kid? I remember when my sister trimmed up my hair when we were little girls & hid it in the Strawberry Shortcake tin! ha! ha! ha!

My Life in Germany

Right now it's 12:25 a.m. & Alex is sitting on my lap as I type this. We should be in bed. Angel & Izzy are sound asleep. I've come to the realization that everyone is wondering what the heck I'm doing here in Germany and I need to get busy with this blogging thing. Yes I know, I'm very bad. Not something I'm used to using so still trying to get used to this. Hopefully what I'm typing will actually show up on my blog & if it does I will feel good. I've got lots of cute pictures of the kids and am excited to share so here I will try to get this going again. luv luv, b.j.
