My Boys

Standing in front of the Berlin Zoo. It was a fun day!

Luv, Luv...

Muwahh! Muwahh! Besos! Besos! ¡mi pequeña muchacha hermosa! (Is that how you say it in Spanish!?!?)

I know I can do it BUT...

I'm going to miss my handsome husband when he is away. I keep thinking of how much camcording & picture taking I will be busy doing because they are growing so fast...no excuses why he should miss a day of them growing. Besides, they LOVE seeing themselves on home video. Later in life they will appreciate my obsessive behavior capturing their daily events.

BIG GIRL!!!

Izzy was chillin' at the table wit da Mama...such a big girl! So cute!

A long day...

Alex was so tired he was able to catch some zzzzzzzzzzzz's while we ate lunch after we finally checked into our hotel in Berlin. Amazing, wish I could sleep like that.

Fancy, fancy...reminds me of a Kohler (sp?) Commercial...

But really, what a change from the cottage.

Made it to Berlin & stayed here....

There were so many hotels booked because of soccer that our options to stay in Berlin were scarce (almot non-existent). This place was pretty "trendy" but I'm glad we splurged & stayed here. We were in West Berlin which is where a lot of the hotels are.

Fish & Rabbits at the Cottage

Daddy's Little Girrrrl...

Gosh Izzy's so cute these days! Ever since she started to crawl she's been exploring a lot more around the house & she is more content being able to do so. She looks so cute when she crawls, no funky crawling going on around here. She seems to always want to do things the right way, the first time.
She's an observer & she is very smart! Her latest has been to crawl all the way to the fridge, take the magnets off the fridge & place them back on.
She also makes kissing noises. When you look at her & do it back she has the proudest smile on her face like she knows that you are giving her credit for her for how her beautiful mind is working...

This was the yard we overlooked from our room.

Just imagine what it looks like when everything is in bloom. Upper right corner is where the rabbits were kept. The whether wasn't the best for Alex to swing and we were heading out when we got to check all this out anyway. The German lady that owned the home was very accomodating to us and Alex, little busy boy. (He keeps me VERY, VERY busy, being a mama is wonderful but I am high demand in his book!

Off to Berlin...

We stayed in this Cottage style home that was a little closer to Berlin from where we live. There were only about 6 or 7 rooms and the German woman that owned it did not speak any English. (I am about to learn a little German soon.)

It was made very clear they were very conservative about saving energy & costs. Everytime we'd walk out of a room, the light was turned off in that room. And so on with other guests. It was very dark & felt a little different since outside we heard thunder & lightning when we pulled into the drive. This was shortly after our GPS sent us into the middle of the woods-a lil' scary! It actually felt kinda like the twilight zone...

But by the next morning especially at breakfast, it ended up feeling very cozy. Alex & Izzy got to see rabbits they kept in a pin, Alex watched her feed some beautiful fish in a large pond they made. The yard was absolutely gorgeous! I was very envious of her yard as I have become a huge plant lover!!!
